Editorial policy

Future Journal aims to make clear what is known, what is interpretation and what is imagined. Our articles should help readers think through possibilities without mistaking them for predictions.

Accuracy and clarity

We check factual statements against suitable sources and explain the basis for important claims. We separate established information from interpretation and scenario-building. When an idea is uncertain or speculative, the wording should make that clear. We use plain language and provide enough context for readers to follow the reasoning.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for their relevance to readers and fit with Future Journal. A commercial relationship does not buy favorable editorial coverage, and partners do not approve independent articles. We identify paid or partner material clearly so readers can tell what they are reading.

Corrections

If a reader spots an error, they can contact us through the Contact page and explain what needs attention. We review correction requests and, when a material error is confirmed, update the article and make the correction clear to readers. We may also clarify wording when it could give a misleading impression.

Illustrations and generated images

Illustrations support the subject but are not evidence that an imagined scene exists. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when that is the case, we label them. We do not use an illustration to imply that a speculative scenario is a documented event.
