Future Journal welcomes thoughtful pitches about possible futures and the choices that shape them. We are looking for clear, grounded writing that invites readers to explore an idea rather than accept a prediction.
What to pitch
Send an idea focused on one question, change or imagined situation within our areas of interest. Strong pitches show why the subject is worth considering, what a reader could take away and how the piece would distinguish present-day facts from future possibilities. We welcome fresh angles, not claims of certainty.
A useful proposal
Include a working title, a short outline, the intended reader and any relevant sources or experience that inform your approach. Tell us whether the idea has been published elsewhere or offered to another outlet. Keep the proposal concise and explain what makes this particular angle worth exploring now.
Send a pitch
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option to send your proposal. Please do not send a complete article unless we have asked for one. A pitch is a proposal, not a guarantee of publication; any next steps can be discussed directly.
